Welcome to Table of Grace
Who
we are
Table of Grace is a client-choice food pantry non-profit. Our food is displayed much like in a market. Our neighbors select from the available inventory. Choices vary month to month depending on food availability.
In the spirit of togetherness, Table of Grace works to end food insecurity and promote community in West Alabama.

Where we get our food!
West Alabama Food Bank
Table of Grace is an agency of West Alabama Food Bank, which distributes 17 million pounds of food throughout Western Alabama annually. We shop there 4 days a week, filling our truck each day in order to meet the needs of roughly 3,000 neighbors each week. Your financial support maximizes this purchasing power.
Donations
Table of Grace accepts food donations from organizations and members of the community. Many local organizations and student groups hold food drives for the pantry. These drives help provide choice for our neighbors shopping at the market. If you have questions, please reach out to us below.
Other Gardens
Local community gardens, such as Jeremiah’s Garden, down the road from us, donate their fresh produce. You, too, could donate your garden surplus.
TOG Gardens
Table of Grace has 20 raised box gardens that helps contribute to the fresh produce we provide to our neighbors. If you are interested in being one of our amazing gardeners, contact us soon.
River Market
Each week at the Tuscaloosa River Market, a group of volunteers takes the time to glean from the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market. This simple act of generosity from the farmers in around Tuscaloosa has provided TOG with over 6,000 lbs of food. Gleaning from farmers and bakers allows us to provide our neighbors with fresh, healthy food options each week.
Grace Klein
As a partner of Grace Klein’s FeedBHM program, we are a part of the larger food rescue initiatives throughout the state of Alabama. Several times a month, we fill our cars with rescued produce and donated food that needs to be distributed quickly to those in need. Reach out if you want to support the Birmingham - Tuscaloosa food rescue pipeline.
